An animator, artist and comics author. Studied classical animation in Zlín. Didn’t finish the school but that’s where he started his 5 years long work on an auteur animated film Spider’s Anatomy (2014). He organizes a site-specific event the Night of Churches in Libotenice. As an animator he collaborated on a number of projects – Live from Moss (2016), Overboard! (2019), Even Mice Belong to Heaven (2020) or Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light (2023).
An illustrator, animator and comics author. Attended a figure drawing seminar by Boris Jirků and Radek Petříček and later studied classical animation in Zlín where he met Vojtěch and Jan. His comics series Gobius Capito II used to be regularly published on this website. Illustrated two graphic novels: Stronger Than Some and Svatá Barbora (which won Czech award Muriel for the best comics book and art, then got translated in French and Spanish). Illustrated two books by Jaroslav Foglar. Worked as an animator on feature films Fritzi: A Revolutionary Tale (2019) and Where Is Anne Frank (2021) and as a head of animation on Hurikán (2024).
An animator, artist and comics author. Graduated in Classical Animation Studies from Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín and in Animation from Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). After premiering at la Quinzaine des Réalisateurs at Cannes in May 2016 his graduation film Happy End - a black comedy about death - was shortlisted for the 2017 Oscars in the Animation Short category. In 2012 his first comics with the Hurikán character was created. In 2024 he finished directing his first professional animated short called HURIKÁN, using this character as a main protagonist.
